Sessions & Fees
Universal Funding
We offer the Universal 15 hours Free Funding to all children from 3 to 5 years, this entitlement  is offered from the term following their third birthday.  These sessions are offered as either a morning or afternoon sessions as follows:

Morning                    08.45 - 11.45

Afternoon                 12.15 - 15.15

30 Hour Funding
Further to this we offer 30 hours Early Years Government Funding to all children from the term following their third birthday.  The hours for this are as follows, additonally we offer an early drop off for children who attend the preschool for 30hrs.  30hr funding attendance has to be a minium of 4 days a week (24hrs per week)

All Day                       09.15 - 15.15

Early Drop Off          08.45 - 09.15

Eligibilty for 30hr Funding

  • Both parents are working (or the sole parent is working in a lone parent family)
  • Each parent has a weekly minimum income equivalent to 16 hours at national minimum wage 
  • Neither parent has an income of more than £100,000 per year

We offer 30 hours to parents who are not entitle to the additional funding, this would be charged as follows, for the additional 15 hours (5 sessions per week):

Waiting List
You are very welcome to to put your child on our waiting list from 18 months old, however Inline with our Policies we arrange our waiting list and offer places in date of birth order, and prioritise residants within the Shinfield Parish

Payment of Invoices and Notice
Invoices for fees will be issued at the end of each half term in advance for the half term ahead.  Acceptance of our terms for joining includes your liability for the fees.  We try to keep our fees as low as possible.  If you have difficulty paying the fees please discuss the matter in confidence with the administrator. For non-attendance, fees are not refundable unless there are extenuating circumstances. If you decide to remove your child from preschool or sessions, we require one half  terms time written notice; the only time this notice is not required is in the term prior to your child commencing primary school.

"Chapel Lane Pre-School is registered to receive Early Years Government Funding for all children from the term following their third birthday.  Funding may be claimed for a maximum of 15 hours per week across their pre-school education until they start school"
